Organigram

The General Assambly of Members appoints a Management Board. The Administrator works day to day and reports to the board. A Medical Advisory Panel under the direction of the Clinical Director reports back to the board. A volunteer coordinator controls and administers the volunteers.

Jim Phillips

president

A resident of Maspalomas for over 14 years, Jim has been involved in LGBT activism, sexual health and PrEP since 2017 and in his previous career, fighting for the acceptance of LGBT people in the British armed forces.

Ronald Kenson

vice president

Retired and resident of Gran Canaria since 2024, Ronald worked in insurance as head of a sales department. Volunteering since 2023 he more recently led the team of receptionists in the new center. He assumed the role of Vice President in April 2026.

Jose Antonio Perez Alonso

secretarY

Lawyer and tax advisor with an office in Playa del Inglés. Resident in this town since 2005. Co-founder and supporter of the “Help Oasis” food aid initiative from 2020 to the present day. He has provided free legal assistance to those affected by the Coronavirus crisis, and by the La Palma volcano.

Robert Philip Broadley

Treasurer

Resident of Maspalomas since 2020. Has been involved in LGBTIQ+ activism and HIV/AIDS volunteer work in the Netherlands since 1987 as a counsellor, and other roles.

Daniel Adrados Ruiz

MEDICAL DIRECTOR

Specialist in Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases at Hospital Gregorio Mararón, Masters in statistics, medical aesthetics and anti-aging by Universidad Complutense. Currently working at Hospital Insular of Gran Canaria, and resident of Maspalomas since 2021

Harald Grenz-Siebert

DOCTOR

Specialist in dermatology and venereology, allergology, phlebology and proctology. Born in Germany, but has been working in Playa del Inglés for 9 years.

Fabio Valenciano Rubio

DOCTOR

Born on the island of Gran Canaria and ⁠Graduate in Dentistry from the University of Zaragoza. ⁠Master in Orthognathic Surgery from the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya ⁠and Master in Teacher Training from the Complutense University of Madrid. ⁠He works as Clinical Director of the Department of Orthodontics in 5 private clinical centers in Gran Canaria and is a visiting professor at several Spanish universities.

Lorenzo Bernini

Manager checkpoint maspalomas

Graduated in Nursing from the Insubria University of Varese. Master in Forensic Nursing from the Statale University of Milan. Graduated in Advanced Nursing and Management from the University of Eastern Piedmont. Expert in Nursing in Infectious Diseases, Urology and Intensive Care, currently working in Surgical Hospitalization at the San Roque de Meloneras Hospital and as an anti-doping control officer for IDTM Sweden.
